Dan Aquilina – Director

Dan is specifically responsible for financial accountability of the business, adhering to quality
and safety principles, and managing the engineering and estimating department to ensure that our
resource and service commitments of our projects are exceeding client expectations.

Qualified in Air Conditioning & Refrigeration, Dan utilises his trade experience to ensure that we
are delivering as required and have the right manpower available to realise key milestones. He
takes a lead role in the tender review process and mentors as well as challenges the team on
equipment selections, sustainable solutions, design intent and achievement of scope.

Dan is also responsible for client relations, financial transparency, performance and corporate
social responsibility. He is centred upon client delivery and motivates the team to understand the
strategic drivers of our clients and key stakeholders and to ensure that we receive favourable
testimonial feedback upon completion of our projects. His attention to detail and empathetic
driven management style has earned the company awards, longevity and repeat clients and a low turn­
over of staff due to high team morale.


Shaun Mehan – General Manager

Shauns role is diverse and encompasses planning, directing, co-ordinating high-level project
activities, and particularly assisting project engineers and project managers to implement value
engineering designs where cost reductions or revised budgets can be achieved. He maintains strong
relationships with clients, site based staff and key project stakeholders and provides strate­ gic
and professional guidance to the team.

Key attributes include his ability to mentor project engineers during the design phase to best meet
client and project needs whilst maintaining our contractual obligations from conception to comple­
tion. He ensures our subcontractors and site staff have established work plans and adequate
resourcing for each phase of our projects and co-ordinates budgets, and takes a hands-on role to
ensure financial accountability, program delivery, tool selections, materials and equipment
invento­ ry, reviews prepared internal and external reports pertaining to job status, negotiates
terms of agreements, contracts, permits and licenses, and supports the WHSE team to analyse, manage
and mitigate project risks.


Johnathan Gardner – Business Development

Jonathan joined AirSential HVAC Group as Business Development Director to specifically target new
business. He has worked in the construction sector across Australia. He has global
industry contacts and an excellent knowledge of projects due to his work history and pas­sion for
architecture and travel. He mentors the team in creative thinking, sustainability and value
engineering to ensure we are always differentiating ourselves in the market.


Dane Thompson – Operations | WHSE

Dane is responsible for leading and managing the WHSE activities including facilitating WHSE
inductions and workshops, communicating performance, information and advice; development and
implement of WHSE Plans; associated legal framework; auditing work procedures; coordinating injury
management/ return to work policies and procedures; reviewing WHSE reports and inspections;
initiating WHSE meetings and programs; Toolbox Talks; incident investigations; diligent record
keeping in accordance with guidelines; undertaking site inspections and ensuring recommendations
are completed; monitoring environmental controls for compliance and other WHSE duties as required.


Raj Kasmith – D&C Design Engineer

Raj is a Professional Mechanical Engineer with over 5 years of Australian experience and over 11
years of international experience in HVAC Design and Project Management for various projects. He
is dynamic and highly motivated with strong technical capabilities and interpersonal skills and
has demonstrated organisational ability in handling a multitude of tasks and responsibilities
simultaneously.


Jodie Keats – Service Co-Ordinator

Jodie is our Service Co- Ordinator and specifically supports the Service team to facilitate
project and resource co-ordination. She is responsible for client management assisting with
fielding calls and supporting our client’s needs, subcontractor and technician engagement,
preparing forms, co- ordinating insurances and licenses, formalising credit applications and
purchase orders, as well as toll notices and invoicing, and entering information into the SimPRO Enterprise service
job management portal. As part of the Quality Management Procedures, Jodie audits various projects
for compliance.


Andrew White – Service Manager

Andrew is HVAC Mechanical trade licensed and has experience in servicing, project management,
commissioning and leadership. His skills range from small- scale to more highly complex systems or
reactive and periodic maintenance services in both critical and non-critical environments.
He provides 24/7 technical support to field technicians and supervision of project commissioning;
as well as client liaison to facilitate their requirements.


Matt Picone – Project Manager/Site Manager

Matt joined AirSential HVAC Group Site Manager and has progressed to become Project Manager. He
has been instrumental in leading works across various portfolio with excellence in project
management demonstrated on the various rollout works for various local and regional schools.
He is a team player, safety conscious and possesses strong leadership skills to deliver our projects.
